Happy hour, Milanese style

Rita & cocktails
Via Angelo Fumagalli, 1 – tel. 02 837 2865
My all time favorite. Incredible choice of cocktails of great balance and
research. The staff makes you feel at home.

Rita’s Tiki Room
Ripa di Porta Ticinese, 69 – tel. 02 8355 5017
Tiki Room, Rita’s spin-off, is a moment of escape towards Polynesia
with cocktails based on rum, flavoured with tropical fruit and spices.
Thai and Cantonese-inspired food is curated by Eugenio Roncoroni,
chef of Al Mercato.

Living
P.zza Sempione, 2 – tel. 02 33100824
At Arco della Pace, always lively and busy (book a table if you do not
want to be standing) great selection of cocktails and appetizers in such
quantities to replace dinner. For smart people and pauseurs 25-50
years.

Bulgari Hotel
Via Privata Fratelli Gabba, 7/B – tel. 02 8058051
Super chic e super mondano, un po’ affettato, ma con un giardino
fantastico nel centro di Milano. Quindi meglio d’estate. Buoni i cocktail
con appetizers.

Two milanese design shops not to miss

10 Corso Como

Corso Como, 10
It's the only concept shop in Milan, designed by Carla Sozzani, sister
of the editor of Vogue Italy. On the ground floor, a beautiful courtyard
full of jasmines, a bar, a clothes and home accessories store; on the
first floor
an interesting photo gallery (free admission), a sophisticated shop of
art books and music. A joy for the eye, but incredible prices!

Spazio Rossana Orlandi

Via Matteo Bandello, 14
If you are design addicts, this is the place to go.

Not to be missed

La Rinascente

Piazza del Duomo
The big names of Made in Italy are here. At level -1, an interesting
design objects shop and on the top floor italian food products and a
cafe-restaurant for a brunch with a view on the cathedral spire.

Eataly
Piazza XXV Aprile, 11
The temple of Italian gastronomy. A joy for food lovers.

Eat’s C.so

Vittorio Emanuele
It's a brand new store representative of the best of Italian gastronomy.
Besides a delicious bistro for breakfast and, on the upper floors, a
fashion store, renovated by Jean Nouvel.
